Porting your existing number to WOCOM
Number porting moves your existing Jamaican business number onto WOCOM so you keep it when you switch — customers notice nothing, your number stays the same. As an OUR-licensed carrier, WOCOM manages the port end to end.
- Submit a port request — give us the number(s) and your current provider.
- Provide a recent bill / authorisation — confirms you own the number.
- We coordinate the port with the losing carrier and confirm a date.
- Cutover — your number activates on WOCOM with no downtime, typically within a few business days.
Getting new numbers (DIDs)
Need an additional or brand-new number? WOCOM can provision new local Jamaican DIDs (Direct Inward Dialing numbers) for new lines, departments, locations, or marketing campaigns — no porting required.
Assigning & routing numbers
Each number can be pointed wherever you need it: to a specific extension or desk phone, a ring group or department queue, your WocomHub admin routing rules, or directly to the WOCOM AI receptionist so it answers that line 24/7. Routing is managed centrally and can be changed any time.
