How the certification works
Study first, then sit the exam. The exam only unlocks once every lesson is complete — this is a certification, not a quiz.

Step one
Enrol
Create a free account. Progress is saved as you go, so you can study across several sittings and pick up exactly where you stopped.
-
02
Step two
Work through the training
The network, the phone system, the devices, SIP trunking, the AI receptionist and the contact centre. Each module ends with a knowledge check that is not scored.
-
03
Step three
Sit the exam
Multiple choice, timed, and it only unlocks once every lesson is complete. You need 15 correct out of 20.

The outcome
Get certified
Your certificate is issued immediately with a unique verification code. Anyone — an employer, a client, a procurement officer — can check it against WOCOM’s register.
One attempt every 30 days. The exam is not a quiz at the end of a video — it is the assessment the certificate rests on.
What you will learn
Every module is written from the live WOCOM service catalogue — the same plans, prices, devices and features you will quote and support in the field.
WOCOM and the Jamaican Market
Who WOCOM is, what the product family covers, how a business call actually travels, and how to work out which WOCOM service a business needs.
Cloud PBX Fundamentals
What a PBX does, what moving it to the cloud changes, the call-handling features every deployment uses, the three plan tiers, and how a customer gets from signature to live.
Devices, Apps and the Network
The Poly desk phone range and who each model suits, the mobile and desktop apps, bringing existing handsets, and the network underneath — PoE, QoS and the faults a bad LAN produces.
Flexi-SIP Trunk and Numbers
SIP trunking for businesses that keep their own PBX: how channels work, how to size them, the resilience and fraud controls included, DID and DOD, and the commercials.
The WOCOM AI Receptionist
How the AI receptionist answers and routes calls, what it can and cannot do at each tier, how minutes translate into calls, and what onboarding a customer actually involves.
Contact Centre, Supervision and Add-ons
Queues and the six live wallboard metrics, the three ways a supervisor can join a call, the AI Call Intelligence features included with every plan, and the live chat add-on.
WOCOM Hub — Advanced Certification (Level 2)
The WOCOM Hub portal in depth, screen by screen, with animated walkthroughs of the real interface — the dashboard, extensions and departments, the routing canvas, live call monitoring, WOCOM AI and call scoring, and reporting. The final module covers the voice fundamentals underneath it: SIP, audio, codecs, concurrency and call quality. Seven modules, then a written and practical assessment.
A different kind of exam
100 marks across four sections — short answer, diagnosis scenarios, design, and a 30-mark observed practical on a test tenant. Pass mark 80, and every practical task must work on a live call.
Marked by an assessor
Sections A–C are written in the browser and marked by a human against the marking key. There is no multiple choice — the questions ask what you would do and why.
9 modules, 45 lessons
The WOCOM Hub portal screen by screen, with animated walkthroughs of the real interface — extensions and departments, the routing canvas, live call monitoring, WOCOM AI and reporting — then the voice fundamentals underneath it.
Who should take this course
Partners, resellers, IT technicians, sales and support staff. There is no cost, no prerequisite and no sales call attached — if you sell, install or support business phone systems in Jamaica, this is the baseline.
