Configure WOCOM Flexible SIP Trunk on your Grandstream UCM Series IP PBX with inbound and outbound routing.

๐ WOCOM SIP Trunk Credentials
Ensure you have the following information before starting.
๐ Step 1 โ Access the UCM Portal
Log in to the Grandstream UCM web interface.
Open Web Browser
Open your preferred web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, etc.).
Enter UCM IP Address
Enter the IP address of your Grandstream UCM PBX in the address bar (e.g. https://192.168.1.100:8089).
Log In
Enter your administrator credentials and click Login.
๐ก Step 2 โ Navigate to VoIP Trunks
Find the trunk management section in the UCM menu.
In the UCM web interface left-side menu, navigate to the Extension/Trunk section and select "VoIP Trunks" from the dropdown menu.
โ Step 3 โ Add a SIP Trunk
Create a new Register SIP Trunk for WOCOM.
Click "Add SIP Trunk"
Click the "Add SIP Trunk" button at the top of the VoIP Trunks page.
Select Type
Choose "Register SIP Trunk" from the Type dropdown.
Set Provider Name
Enter "WOCOM" as the name of your SIP trunk provider.
Set Host Name
Enter voip1.wocomja.com โ this may vary based on your location.
๐ Step 4 โ Enter Account Credentials
Provide your WOCOM SIP trunk authentication details.
In the "Registration and Authentication" section, enter the credentials provided by WOCOM upon service activation.
Username
Enter your WOCOM assigned phone number (e.g. 8769067240).
Password
Enter your WOCOM SIP trunk password / secret.
Save
Click "Save" and then "Apply Changes".
๐ค Step 5 โ Configure Outbound Routes
Define how outgoing calls are routed through your WOCOM SIP trunk.
Navigate to Outbound Routes
After saving trunk settings, go to "Outbound Routes" in the Extension/Trunk menu.
Create New Route
Create a new outbound route specifying the necessary details for routing calls through the WOCOM SIP trunk.
Add Dial Patterns
Enter the patterns below to allow calls to Jamaica, USA, Canada, and international destinations.

_) indicates a pattern match, X matches any digit 0โ9, and the dot (.) matches one or more additional digits. Advanced patterns can be configured by contacting the WOCOM technical team.๐ฅ Step 6 โ Configure Inbound Routes
Route incoming calls on your WOCOM number to the correct destination within your PBX.
Navigate to Inbound Routes
Go to "Inbound Routes" in the Extension/Trunk menu.
Create New Route
Click "Add" to create a new inbound route.
Select Trunk
Select "SIP Trunks โ WOCOM" from the trunk dropdown.
Enter Pattern
Enter your WOCOM assigned phone number with an underscore prefix (see pattern examples below).
Set Default Destination
Select the destination for incoming calls from the dropdown (extension, ring group, IVR, etc.).

8760000000 with your actual WOCOM-assigned phone number. The pattern _!x. is a catch-all that matches any DID โ use this if you have multiple numbers on the same trunk.๐ฏ Inbound Destination Types
Where incoming calls can be routed within your Grandstream UCM PBX.
๐ Extension
Direct the call to a specific internal extension associated with an individual phone or user.
๐ Ring Group
Ring multiple extensions simultaneously or sequentially, allowing any member to answer the call.
๐ Queue
Send calls to a call queue that distributes them evenly among a group of agents or users.
๐ IVR
Route to an Interactive Voice Response menu where callers choose their destination (e.g. "Press 1 for Sales").
๐ฃ๏ธ Conference Room
Direct the call to a conference room allowing multiple participants to join.
๐ง Voicemail
Send the call directly to a voicemail box if no one is available to answer.
๐พ Step 9 โ Apply Changes
Save and activate your SIP trunk configuration.
๐งช Step 10 โ Testing the SIP Trunk
Verify your configuration is working correctly.
Verify Extensions
Ensure that extensions and phones are registered with your Grandstream UCM PBX.
Test Outbound Calls
Place a call to an external number from an extension. Verify the call connects and audio is two-way.
Test Inbound Calls
Call your WOCOM assigned number from a mobile phone. Verify it routes to the correct destination.
Verify Caller ID
Check that your WOCOM number displays correctly on outbound calls.
